My name is Patricia L. Novack. I was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to California when I was 16 years old. I have been a 911, Police, Fire, and Paramedic dispatcher for a number of years and recently retired. I used to draw as a child, but never painted until I was an adult. I put my paints away when I had children and picked them back up after they were grown. I worked long hours, so not much time to paint while I was working. I've done oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels. I probably enjoy acrylics and watercolors the best. I'm always finding new ways to paint them and enjoy reading how other artists paint.
